In 1970, the Ford dealership in Burlington moved to its current location on Shelburne Road. At that time, it was doing business under the Nordic banner. Since then, the company has grown into two separate dealerships, Ford and Toyota, and includes a body shop, and a reconditioning center, all located at the South Burlington location. A separate Toyota dealership, White River Toyota, is located in White River Junction, Vermont. Heritage provides automotive sales, service, parts, leasing, body shop work and vehicle reconditioning to the general public and to fleet and business customers. Heritage Automotive Group is one of the leading dealerships in New England and currently employs approximately 200 people.
