Green Mountain Power (GMP) is the second largest Vermont electric utility and the seventh largest employer in the state. GMP provides electric service to over 82,000 Vermont customers. It also provides electric service to 36% of the businesses in Vermont. The company service territory covers a 25-mile wide swath across north-central Vermont and also includes four service areas in southern Vermont. There are district offices in Colchester, Vergennes, Montpelier, Wells River, Wilder, Bellows Falls and Wilmington.

• Career Guest Speakers – Our speakers perform interactive presentations on energy sources in Vermont, including wind, for grades 3-6.

• Career Fairs – For high school students.

• Educational Visit/Tour – Hydro plant tours are available , on a limited basis,for students in the third grade and above.
