A School Site Mentoring program is an ongoing one-on-one relationship where a professional is designated as an advocate who offers encouragement and support to a student in order to help develop the student’s interests, abilities and talents. A Workplace Mentor is an employee or other individual, approved by the employer at a workplace, who possesses the skills and knowledge to be mastered by a student, and who instructs the student, critiques the performance of the student, and challenges the student to perform well. |
